Buying Process FAQs
How and where can I purchase the cars on display?
The physical location of any car is usually stated in the car details section of the car on the website. You can fill in your information to speak to an agent about reserving the car, OR visit the lot where the car is physically located to make the purchase. What is the condition of your Cars?
Our inventory is primarily verified Tokunbo and Nigerian used cars. We have partnered with Cars45 Limited – Ghana’s largest car buying service, to help verify and provide quality assurance on our cars. We have detailed inspection reports for each car which states the condition. This report is displayed on all the cars to help you when making a buying decision.
Can I bring my own Technician/Mechanic?
We strongly recommend that you come with your mechanic to check the car before you buy but our inspection report is your best guiding tool.
Can one test-drive the cars before buying?
Car inspection does not include test-driving as all required information with regards to the state and condition of the car’s component parts are included in the car’s Inspection Report.
Where do you source your used cars from?
All our cars are purchased directly from our principal partner, Cars45 Limited – Nigeria’s largest cars buying service. All cars have been put through rigorous mechanical inspection.

What are the available means/methods of payment?
Payments can be made through bank transfers or by making bank deposit into the company’s account at the bank. However, you will be required to provide a proof of payment at the lot for any of the payment means/methods used.
Are the prices on the cars negotiable?
Yes, the prices are negotiable. We offer regular discount campaigns, and our sales team will do their best to get the maximum possible discount for you.
Do you allow payment in installments?
No, we currently do not have a scheme that allows for installment payments.
Do you accept payments in cryptocurrency?
No, we do not accept cryptocurrencies. CarsBazr receives payments in Naira only. Payments can be done through bank transfers, or by making bank deposit into the company’s account at the bank.
Apart from the cost of the cars are there hidden or additional charges?
No, there are no hidden charges. The only additional charge is the regulatory Tax which is VAT (Value Added Tax). This is 5% of the cost of the car.
Does the cost of a car include the vehicle registration fees?
No. The cost of the car does not include vehicle registration fees. However, we offer Vehicle Registration as a separate service.
How it works
- The customer makes a request to regularize car documents.
- Customer submits a copy of Proof of Ownership, Allocation of Plate Number Certificate, Passport Photograph, Transfer of Ownership, Purchase Receipt (if applicable), Personal details (Name, Phone Number & address) and a copy of a Valid ID card.
- Customer pays the required amount into the given account number.
- The cost is 55,000 Naira. The customer gets Allocation of Plate Number Certificate, Vehicle License, Proof of Ownership, CMR, Revenue Receipt and Road Worthiness.
Do you offer swap/trade-in services?
Yes. We have partnered with Cars45 Limited – Ghana's largest cars buying service, to offer convenient car swap service using the value of your current car against the purchase of another one.
How it works
- Go to any CarsBazr Lot and choose the car you want and confirm the price.
- Visit www.Cars45.com.gh and book an appointment in one of the Centers that offer this service. You can also walk-in.
- Drive into any of the selected inspection Centers.
- Choose the car you want to buy.
- Get your Car inspected.
- The car will be put up for online auction.
- If you agree to the auction offer, pick up the new car you traded your old one for and pay the difference (where applicable).
Is there a “Return Policy” in place that ensures that I can get my money back?
CarsBazr operates a NO-RETURN POLICY as all our cars go through an extensive mechanical inspection which ensures that there are no hidden details about any car in our inventory. If it’s not on our Inspection Report, then it does not exist. Please ensure that you fill and sign the Customer Protection Form (CPF) and that you are satisfied with the Inspection Report of any car before making a purchase.
Carsbazr Dealer Live Auctions
How do I register for the Dealer Live Auction?
Visit the Carsbazr lot where the auction is holding for the day (see below for daily calendar). Registration is free. However, a new Carsbazr dealer is required to pay a refundable fee of ₵30,000 to participate while existing Carsbazr dealers pay ₵15,000. Be sure to register in the name that is in your valid ID card, as you would be required to present a means of identification when redeeming any car won at the auction.
What kind of Identification do I need and how can I send it?
You do not need to send us your identification information during the registration process; however, if you want to participate in the bidding and pay the participation fee, you will be required to present a valid ID card for sighting. CarsBazr collects information for verification of legitimacy. It is required that we have full knowledge of our clients. This information assists CarsBazr in the release of your vehicle to you after the auction.
Will my information be kept private?
Yes, your information will be kept private and safe on our secure server.
How much do I pay for registration?
Registration is free. However, to participate in the bidding process where one stands a chance to win any of the cars on auction, every registered bidder will be required to pay a refundable deposit of ₵30,000 (Thirty Thousand cedis). This deposit allows for a bidder to secure a maximum of 2 (Two) wins thereafter, if willing to continue participating, you will be required to make another deposit.
If I am the highest bidder at the indicated bidding end time, does that mean that I won the car?
Yes. A sale is concluded when the Auctioneer announces by striking the hammer or other customary manner announced by the auctioneer, before which all bids can be retracted. Subject to reserved price and acceptance of the highest bid by Seller, the highest bidder announced by the Auctioneer is the purchaser/winner of the car on auction.
What happens to my participation fee if I do not win a car during the Live Auction?
You will get 100% refund within 48 hours if you don't win any car.
How long do I have to make full payment for a car won at the Auction?
You have 48 hours to complete full payment for the car.
What happens if I am unable to make full payment within the 48 hours period?
You forfeit your registration fee if you are unable to make the full payment within the 48 hours.
Can I still bring my Technician to the Auction?
Yes. You can bring your technician to the Live Auction for physical verification.

How do I sell my car using your platform?
Carsbazr does not buy cars. We sell verified Tokunbo and Locally used cars to individuals and dealers. However, you can sell your car through our partner, Cars45 Limited – Ghana's largest cars buying service. Visit cars45.com.gh to do an initial valuation of the car and book for an inspection to sell the car at any of their inspection centers spread across the country.
